The climate of Positano due to its location is very mild subtropical, winters are very warm with temperatures that do not fall almost never below 6 degrees, while the summers are long, hot and sunny but often cooled by the sea breeze .

The main beaches are the beach and the Great Fornillo, both within walking distance; the others are La Porta, Arienzo and San Pietro Laurito, all accessible mainly by boat.
